System Architecture & Zero-Input Automation

This application was designed to run autonomously without manual exports or intervention:

1. Nightly Automated Synchronization (Node-Cron)

The server runs a background job at 2:00 AM every night that connects to Certemy's public registry API and refreshes your local database. When certification boards update license statuses, your local system receives them automatically.

2. Zero-Auth Google Sheets Integration

Your Google Sheets users never need API keys, service accounts, or Google Cloud OAuth setup. By setting sharing to "Anyone with the link can view", the application leverages Google's direct CSV export endpoint:

3. Profile-Level Multi-Cert Expansion (Option B)

In Certemy, each certified professional has a persistent profileId. Even if a user only provides a CPRS cert number, our matching engine discovers all other certifications attached to that profile (e.g., Approved Supervisor, Forensic Endorsement, Counselor credentials) and outputs each as an actionable row.
